In your responses to questions 2023/4703 and 2022/1220 rejecting the Transport Committee’s and various Assembly Members’ long-standing and repeated requests for independent investigations of bus crashes, you use nearly the exact same statement in each response: “Much of the data collected around the circumstances is objective or supported by CCTV evidence, and therefore would not differ whether compiled by an independent entity, TfL, or the operators themselves.
