    Unmesh Desai AM: Thank you, Chair. Good morning to the panel. My lead-off question is to either Phil [Graham] or Ben [Lucas]. High speed internet access is critical for London’s businesses and residents. However, it has been reported that some parts of London have some of the worse full fibre coverage in the country. What are the reasons for this and how can this be tackled? If you would like to start off, Phil.

First of all I would like to address a question to Sir John, referring to another John, John Dickie, from John Kavanagh’s organisation [BusinessLDN], has stated that cutting back on HS2 is a false economy and it will lead to increased costs in the future. What are your observations on this?
