  • Housing and Planning (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Caroline Russell
    • Meeting date: 01 July 2021
Caroline Russell AM: I want to put my question to Daniel Bridge, the Programme Director for the Royal Docks team. City Airport sits in the heart of the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone. What impact is it having on the health of people already living in the area, and are you doing any work to address this?
  • Housing and Planning (Supplementary) [8]

    • Question by: Zack Polanski
    • Meeting date: 01 July 2021
Zack Polanski AM: My question is also for Daniel. I am speaking to you from the Chamber at City Hall, which is on one of the more notorious public‑private spaces, More London, and we are shortly going to be moving to The Crystal. My first question is: who actually owns the land that The Crystal is on? Is it one of the GLA’s pocket strategic development sites? Is it owned by the developer Advanced Business Park? Is it someone else entirely?
  • Housing and Planning (Supplementary) [15]

    • Question by: Unmesh Desai
    • Meeting date: 01 July 2021
Unmesh Desai AM: Good morning. My question is to Royal Docks Programme Director Daniel Bridge. How will developments at the Royal Docks bring opportunities for London?
  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Caroline Pidgeon
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: Thank you for that. Will the decision to delay the opening until autumn next year [2019] ‑ it would be great to find out which month in autumn ‑ mean further delay in the opening of the other sections and the final full opening of the line in December 2019?
  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Florence Eshalomi MP
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
Florence Eshalomi AM: Simon, is there anything you want to add to that?
  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: David Kurten
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
David Kurten AM: Let us come back to the technical aspects. It seems the main problems are getting the three different signalling infrastructures to talk to each other. If you had an extension from Abbey Wood to Ebbsfleet then you would need Crossrail to go onto Southeastern track, which might be a fourth signalling structure. Would it not be? You are shaking your heads.
  • Reasons for your leaving TfL (Supplementary) [15]

    • Question by: Geoff Pope
    • Meeting date: 18 January 2006
Was it your suggestion, the sums of money you were going to acquire as a consultant and the one-off payment? If you add up the sums, as far as we know, you will be earning in the first two years just as much as you were before, but working less. Was that your terms or was that the Mayor's terms?
  • Reasons for your leaving TfL (Supplementary) [16]

    • Question by: Roger Evans
    • Meeting date: 18 January 2006
I would like to return to your reasons for leaving TfL early. Obviously there has been a lot of press speculation about the fact that maybe you had disagreed and fallen out with the Mayor. That would not be surprising because I would expect that you would have some disagreements over working together for that amount of time. Could you just tell us what your most significant disagreement has been with the Mayor?
  • Terms of the termination of your engagement to which TfL have agreed. (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: John Biggs
    • Meeting date: 18 January 2006
Sally Hamwee (Chair): I explained when I wrote to you ' I think it was before Christmas ' that we would ask about the financial details because it is a very particular, very unusual position that you are in, very much one of public interest. John Biggs (AM): The question was to ask you for a list of the contractual benefits to which you are entitled up to 31 January. Could you tell us how many crates of claret, how many rooms at the Savoy, how many transatlantic flights, how many gold-plated telephones you get as part of your contract?
  • Terms of the termination of your engagement to which TfL have agreed. (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Bob Blackman
    • Meeting date: 18 January 2006
Would anything in that contract prevent you, for example, from revealing details of discussions between yourself and the Mayor on the reasons for you leaving?
