In a recent letter Tfl have told us that they would not approve a pedestrian crossing on the A12 between Park Avenue and Bromley Court Hotel because, 'Experience has shown that when a controlled crossing is introduced where an accident problem does not exist this has led to accidents occurring.' Could you give us evidence to back up this statement?
