    I really want to pick up on what Roger Evans has just said. You mentioned the inevitability of disagreements between professionals; absolutely, that is par for the course. What I wanted to know was, apart from when your contract was renewed a year ago, were lawyers involved in the achievement of this recent settlement?

    On the West London Tram, will there be an additional large pot of money to tackle traffic reduction and rat-running, as we saw with Congestion Charging, not only an important measure but an important measure in terms of building public confidence before the scheme goes ahead?

    On your own admission just now, you have made clear that the transport system is not ideal. We have a situation here where people are being asked to pay not only a 60% increase, but with the western extension, TfL's own economic impact assessment makes clear that there will be a reduction in lunch-time customers for restaurants, shift-workers such as cleaners will suffer, `retailers may close down', `retailers may relocate', and delivery costs will be passed to customers.
