What changes do you anticipate to the London Plan or other planning guidance as a result of your new action plan to help tackle flooding risks in London?
In December you visited The Institute of Cancer Research in Belmont, where you made clear that you strongly supported the plans to expand to become the second biggest campus of its kind in the world. What effect will these plans have on the business case for the Sutton Tram Extension?
I know that borough leaders are aware of this, and perhaps there can be some liaison with the boroughs, as well, through the Association of London Government (ALG).
What are the procedures in place to recall all emergency service personal to active duty in light of a critical incidents? How long is it estimated that this would take?
Are plans in place to deal with the aftermath of a major incident in any part of London, in particular with regards to the potential need to accommodate and provide for a large number of displaced Londoners?
Can the communication systems of the various emergency services, and in particular the radios carried by individual staff, interface? Which emergency services have radios that can work underground? When will the new MPS radio system 'Airwave' be operational?
