    • Question by: Caroline Russell

Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: Thank you. I have three specific questions I would like to ask you. To fulfil your vision, your modelling shows you are going to need a nursery in place by 2020 and another two years later. I am pleased you have made progress on this in your work. We are rapidly approaching 2018 now. Are you confident the funding is going to be in place and that they will be completed on time?

  • Mayor's manifesto commitments (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Siân Berry
    • Meeting date: 07 December 2016
Sian Berry AM: I would like to ask for some quick clarification on some of the details of the London Living Rent homes within your funding programme, if that is OK. This product is not quite what renters were expecting. It is very similar to the Government’s existing Rent to Buy Scheme, which is not suitable for everyone. I wanted to ask. The Government’s Rent to Buy Scheme requires a good credit rating. Can you reassure Londoners worried that their credit history might hinder their ability to apply for London Living Rent homes that they will not need to have...

Given the extensive political opposition to a third runway at Heathrow and the inevitable legal and planning challenges that will arise it is almost certain expansion is unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future at Heathrow. In light of these realities do you believe sufficient attention has been given to improving surface transport to ensure that the significant spare air capacity at existing airports in the south east is fully utilised.

  • Kings Cross Gyratory

    • Reference: 2012/0040-1
    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 20 June 2012
In your answer to question 1372 / 2012 you state that 'A series of key stakeholder workshops will be organised in June which will allow various parties to discuss their aspirations for the work at King's Cross Gyratory and to highlight the issues that affect local residents.' Given the confusion that has arisen with my constituents regarding works to the King's Cross Gyratory in the past can you please answer each of the following in full: a) Please provide a list of all the 'key stakeholder groups' who will be invited to these workshops b) Please outline details of how...
  • Concern (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 20 June 2012
Yes, Peter, and that is the sort of response I have been getting for the last couple of years, and luckily I can say to you that the Borough of Lambeth have recently run a most successful campaign using ads; it is the campaign 'Know the Difference'. It is a campaign that Assembly Member Kit Malthouse in his role when he was head of Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) endorsed and commended. It has been taken onboard by other people and the only organisation that did not commit to it locally in Lambeth was TfL. These campaigns were...
