Jenny Jones (AM): It is really difficult to know where to start. This has been going on for eight and a half years now and that is a long time in human terms, in Metropolitan Police Service terms of course it is just a click of the fingers. Will the withdrawal of Transport for London funds for police enforcement and education work on road safety lead to an increase in casualties?

With the proposed closure of the Commercial Vehicle Education Unit, will current levels of enforcement continue, i.e. will there be specialised officers carrying our roadside checks on at least 3,000 vehicles a year, detecting legal infringements to date in around 80% of them?

Will the Freight Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS) partnership, which has indicated that it will take over the administrative and education work of the CVEU have either the expertise or legal powers to carry out enforcement duties, previously done by the specialised Metropolitan Police officers?

Will the FORS partnership ensure that all transport operators with a vehicle involved in a fatality or serious injury receive a visit by a specialised member of staff who can assess the company's vehicles, practices and training? If not, will the Traffic OCU take over this task?

Apart from areas where you have got terms and conditions that you cannot change, are you expecting every single part of the Metropolitan Police Service to make 5% to 10% cuts? Are there any areas where there will not be cuts?
