I just want to come back a little bit to the part in the question that refers to fairness, which we touched on a little bit in terms of increasing employability but not in terms of issues of pay. I was at a meeting last night when a number of cleaners spoke quite passionately about the impact on their lives of low pay.     TfL offer free travel on tubes and buses for their apprentices which would considerably help young Londoners with their living costs. What were the reasons behind providing this benefit and can more be done to help apprentices in London with their travel costs, particularly for those employers who do not pay the London Living Wage?
