The Commissioner has said that he wants a new approach to stop and search. He told the Metropolitan Police Authority last year that he hoped to have a new policy in place for the New Year, and he told us last time he was here that that is still his view, but that there would be some consultation with communities and with ourselves and the stakeholders about that new approach. Yes, I do have some questions about the flawed police investigation that followed the fatal stabbing of Stephen Lawrence 19 years ago. Mr Mayor, you have just been asked about the relationship between yourself and ATOC on matters of the Freedom Pass and the costs. This morning London Councils has flagged up - and you may have seen it in its newsletter - its worries about ATOC asking for extra money to pay for the Freedom Pass. Given that both the Conservative Party and the Liberal Democrat Party only want to build half a Thames Gateway bridge I think it is quite reasonable there should be a lively discussion on the issue! I think in both cases they like the northern part, but not the southern part. That is politics for you! Peter, it was very timely, that the vision of TfL, that the Transport 2025 came out before Sir Rod Eddington's report. Some of the difficulties Tony [Arbour] is having about understanding the funding are answered in the Report; the suggestion that the cash moves from the rural rail lines to the commuter rail lines, that we extend the road pricing nationally. Can we expect TfL to be picking up some of the proceeds of those changes in funding priorities nationally?

I have a letter here in my hand from the Leader of Camden Council who is speaking on behalf of Liberal Democratic/Conservative Partnership Administration, and that is what he says in his letter.
