    Why has the Fire Authority rejected the recommendation of the Review Body on Senior Salaries that the allowance paid to an Assembly Member acting as Chair of the Authority be frozen until the start of the next Assembly term?

Darren Johnson (AM): -- clear your enthusiasm for the Government's cuts agenda. Do you believe that 25% should apply to the Fire Authority, or should it be exempt?

    It sees a bit old fashioned to rely on the road network when we are putting in this fantastic public transport option. They cannot all be carrying gold medals! They cannot all need protection. Why can you not just say to the IOC that, actually, it is much more efficient to go by public transport, and not pollute east London further?
