Well, we will try and help you out, if that happens. When that happens.

Through the Chair, can I suggest that the Mayor does not go for Mastermind if the topic is disability or funding for disability sport.

Still, even in what you have just described, you have not mentioned any interaction with the people on the ground ' the businesses ' at this stage. You are talking about consulting the boroughs and consulting other stakeholders. I would have thought that at this stage, you need the information from the people who are going to be looking for the contracts, and who are going to be producing it. I find it quite difficult to get information. If I could, I will address the next bit to Tony (Winterbottom, Executive Director, Regeneration & Development, LDA), rather than you. Tony...
  • Sustainable Management System (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey

Now, you cannot make a statement like that on the radio in a national radio programme, and then not expect local companies to think that they can ring up us or ring up the LDA and say, `What is the position? How can we get some of these jobs?'

    I know he did.
  • London Bomb Attacks (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Sally Hamwee
    • Meeting date: 20 July 2005
Thank you very much, Mr Mayor. We all share, among the various sentiments you have expressed, our thanks to the emergency services and to TfL. As I said to TfL, while with the emergency services we have come to expect and take for granted the high standard at which they operate, with TfL we had not been so used to such a speedy response. Five years ago, this might have been different. We have all been very aware of the public reaction. Just to mention one point: at the books of condolence here in City Hall, when I have stood...
