Mr Mayor, you have just been asked about the relationship between yourself and ATOC on matters of the Freedom Pass and the costs. This morning London Councils has flagged up - and you may have seen it in its newsletter - its worries about ATOC asking for extra money to pay for the Freedom Pass. That really is very unfortunate to hear. We know the western extension is really one of your daftest ideas. Nobody wants it. It looks neat on a map I can tell you that, but it is a waste of time. I appreciate one size does not fit all and I totally agree with that. Would it be fair to say that the way to go forward would be where there is an excellent product, that you would like to use best practice principles in order to extend those practices across the capital?

I think it is a bit rich coming from my colleague, Mr Hulme Cross, given that he actually voted for the closure of the fire station on LFEPA so there are a bit of crocodile tears going on there I suspect, whereas I, as the local Assembly Member for the constituency, have at all time reflected my concerns about this closure.
