    OK. I want to go back, Commissioner, to the point about fire safety and fires in London, which you mentioned there. The latest performance figures clearly show that the number of serious fires have been rising over the last year across the capital; we have seen an increase in fires in dwellings by around 7% and an increase in non-domestic fires around 17% which is concerning, given the trends previously. We are now seeing it reversed. What changes are you going to make to respond to this worrying trend?

    Can I just begin by declaring hospitality? I attended the awards lunch at Lords [LFEPA staff achievement awards] and I enjoyed it and I sat next to the Counter-Terrorism Joint Liaison team between the Metropolitan Police Service and the Fire Brigade, who won an award, deservedly, for their work at Operation Tiger Tiger. However, subsequently one of those posts was proposed for cuts, within this package of cuts which our colleague has been proposing.
