Sian Berry AM: I would like to ask for some quick clarification on some of the details of the London Living Rent homes within your funding programme, if that is OK. This product is not quite what renters were expecting. It is very similar to the Government’s existing Rent to Buy Scheme, which is not suitable for everyone. I wanted to ask. The Government’s Rent to Buy Scheme requires a good credit rating. Given the extensive political opposition to a third runway at Heathrow and the inevitable legal and planning challenges that will arise it is almost certain expansion is unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future at Heathrow. In light of these realities do you believe sufficient attention has been given to improving surface transport to ensure that the significant spare air capacity at existing airports in the south east is fully utilised.

Valerie Shawcross (AM): I think the last time you were both in front of us we did speak a little bit about how you were reconfiguring the Trident Gang Crime Command and the considerable number of people who work in that division, was it 500 staff I think you mentioned. Since then there has been seven stabbings in my division and of course a terrible murder of Kwame Ofosu-Asare [March 2012]. The issue Val mentions of the seven stabbings, and one stabbing that resulted in somebody tragically dying in parts of Lambeth Kit Malthouse (Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime): Pimlico. I seem to recall Kit Malthouse (Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime): They do.
