  • Housing and Planning (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Caroline Russell
    • Meeting date: 01 July 2021
Caroline Russell AM: I want to put my question to Daniel Bridge, the Programme Director for the Royal Docks team. City Airport sits in the heart of the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone. What impact is it having on the health of people already living in the area, and are you doing any work to address this?
  • Housing and Planning (Supplementary) [8]

    • Question by: Zack Polanski
    • Meeting date: 01 July 2021
Zack Polanski AM: My question is also for Daniel. I am speaking to you from the Chamber at City Hall, which is on one of the more notorious public‑private spaces, More London, and we are shortly going to be moving to The Crystal. My first question is: who actually owns the land that The Crystal is on? Is it one of the GLA’s pocket strategic development sites? Is it owned by the developer Advanced Business Park? Is it someone else entirely?

  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Caroline Pidgeon
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: Thank you for that. Will the decision to delay the opening until autumn next year [2019] ‑ it would be great to find out which month in autumn ‑ mean further delay in the opening of the other sections and the final full opening of the line in December 2019?
  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Florence Eshalomi MP
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
Florence Eshalomi AM: Simon, is there anything you want to add to that?
  • Lead off question - Delays to Crossrail (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: David Kurten
    • Meeting date: 06 September 2018
David Kurten AM: Let us come back to the technical aspects. It seems the main problems are getting the three different signalling infrastructures to talk to each other. If you had an extension from Abbey Wood to Ebbsfleet then you would need Crossrail to go onto Southeastern track, which might be a fourth signalling structure. Would it not be? You are shaking your heads.

  • Key Challenges for the London Fire Brigade (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: Andrew Dismore
    • Meeting date: 08 February 2018
Andrew Dismore AM: Thank you, Chair. Could I congratulate you both, the Commissioner on her reappointment, I guess, and Fiona on her forthcoming appointment as Deputy Mayor [for Fire and Resilience]? I am sure - and I know - both of you will do excellent work in those roles. Could I ask Fiona? After the Government refused to provide extra funding for the Brigade post Grenfell either for the extra equipment needed or for the running costs of the Brigade, we would all agree that the Mayor’s decision to step in and provide extra funding for the Brigade and sharing...
  • Key Challenges for the London Fire Brigade (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Susan Hall
    • Meeting date: 08 February 2018
Susan Hall AM: Thank you. Good morning, both. Fiona, massive congratulations to you. In your opening statement, you said that we are very proud of the Brigade and of course we are, and we were very happy on this side that Mayor Khan decided to do three different reports to see how well the service was doing, given the closure of the stations. Of course, it came out that the LFB was in a very good place and so we were very happy about that. When will you publish the new corporate governance arrangements prior to the abolition of the...
