    Caroline Russell AM: I want to put my question to Daniel Bridge, the Programme Director for the Royal Docks team. City Airport sits in the heart of the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone. What impact is it having on the health of people already living in the area, and are you doing any work to address this?

My first question is: who actually owns the land that The Crystal is on? Is it one of the GLA’s pocket strategic development sites? Is it owned by the developer Advanced Business Park?     Mr Mayor, can I raise the issue of sectarian tensions in London from the Middle East conflicts between Sunni and Shia? I welcome the comments you made to Andrew Boff AM that you do not want to see international disputes come to the streets of London. In the past 15 months I have seen a number of incidents which concern me.     Is not the truth here that there is no planning? This has mushroomed completely out of control. Until we started asking questions you and the Mayor did not know the volume of it. We are told that since we started asking questions he in particular has been amazed at the volume of travelling going on.

    One final question. Studying your documents there do not seem to be a vast number of trips being planned, for example, to other Commonwealth countries, with which Britain already has very good relations but could be improved. Is there a particular reason why that is the case?

    One of the considerations might be that we have had very clear ones to Cuba, Venezuela etc, which do not strike us as being those areas which would be immediately promoting London as such an important international city. Clearly, that is a priority. Why?
