Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: My questions are to start off with to John O’Brien. I want to ask about support for businesses in London, with a particular focus on the restaurant industry. According to data from the Office for National Statistics, as of July last year there were nearly 16,000 restaurants in London employing around 325,000 people. Clearly, the sector has been hit very hard by COVID-19. I would like to ask the Chair a few questions about increasing diversity in your workforce. You need to look at the offer that is made to staff and look at work practices. As you know, the Mayor announced that he wanted City Hall to become a model employer, adopting the highest standards to support women in the workplace. Is this something that you are looking to do at LFEPA and what plans do you have to review your current working practices?

Thank you. I think you have just demonstrated the point, actually. You've given a reasonably full answer on tourism, which is something we should have had before. If it wasn't Functional Bodies Question Time today, would we have had that information? The point about this whole debate, and I think you're getting it cross-party actually, is the feeling that you stick out like a sore thumb in your attitude towards openness and accountability, not just to the public. Thank you for that very detailed answer. I think maybe we will have to agree to disagree on the London Plan. I know it's something that Assembly members generally are very concerned about. You touched on the SDS. How do you see the two strategies - the Economic Development Strategy and the SDS then - dove-tailing in together as we go through the draft? Perhaps you could specifically tell us what work is actually being done on those to make sure they do dove-tail in together?
