In his response to 2015/0854 the Mayor called for high quality, segregated cycle lanes akin to the one running on Waterden Road to be replicated across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Where and when can Londoners expect to see new cycle lanes of this type being rolled out in the near future?

In 2014, the Mayor (as Chair of LLDC) told me that stable tenancy agreements for private renters was part of negotiations with development partners for neighbourhoods including East Wick and Sweetwater. The proposed River crossings and a number of the sites they seek to open up are in areas at risk from flooding, according to Environment Agency data. Can the chair confirm that the Environment Agency has advised against development along much of the Thames Gateway because of the flood risk? Can the chair publish the advice the LDA has received from the Environment Agency on the flood risk in the Thames Gateway? In particular what will the LDA be doing to ensure that businesses and industry setting up on LDA land or with LDA finance are not prone to flooding...
