A little while ago I went to an exhibition at the Building Federation. They were showing what I can only call an updated pre-fabricated house. It was actually a flat. It had a steel frame and it was was in situ, inside this frame. The frame could be put on the back of a lorry and taken to a site and bolted together. How much money from the MPS budget is used on matters which are not strictly London-related? Ie. national issues related to security, the provision of personnel to guard international summits which may be in other police areas etc? And are these clearly identified in the MPS budget?

Does the Commissioner have a budget plan from now to 2012 for the costs to the MPS of its involvement in the 2012 Olympics? When was this drawn up and how much is the involvement estimated to be likely to cost?
