Thank you very much. One is still a little bit worried. I do not think I have had a proper answer, but my concerns are really about the legal responsibilities that local authorities ' the educational authorities ' may have. One presumes that in a critical incident, children may be removed to a separate, secure place from their parents. Now, this raises the question about legal and practical care to ensure that the children are well-cared for in the short- and medium-term. Now, the term 'in loco parentis' is, in fact, common law, and it does not assume the responsibility...

What is being done to ensure that in the event of a major crisis there will be an adequate supply of fresh food for Londoners?

What proportion of new homes envisaged for the London Thames Gateway will not be deliverable without major enhancement of flood management schemes? When can we expect to see agreement and commencement of a programme of major enhancement of flood management in the London Thames Gateway? .

Perhaps to address another part of your presentation, which links to this, you talked about the need for the LDA to have credibility with business, but are there not occasions when business has to have credibility with Londoners and the LDA needs to say that the employment, training and mentoring practices of the private sector in London are short-sighted, are disadvantaging London and, in the end, will disadvantage those businesses? I am being quite strident in pursuing that. Perhaps your Chair should answer that.

Which other priority is a lesser priority as a consequence of that? What I am trying to get my head around is the extent to which" Obviously in life you have to pursue a lot of relatively easy targets and priorities, but you need to take some challenging ones on now. I think, and I think a lot of my colleagues and constituents believe, that that is a really vital one for London and we have not done enough on it yet.

I am sure we will all feel completely safe in the hands of developers here in London, especially putting in an environmental project that they probably do not have very much sympathy for in the first place. I just think it is incredibly premature to start planning homes, houses or buildings before we have actually had any sort of flood management assessment. I think it is expected in 2008 or 2009, the interim results are going to be in May this year, apparently, but plans are already in hand. How can you possibly do that?
