    Joanne McCartney AM: Thank you. My first question is to Jules. You mentioned earlier you had given a funding uplift to FE providers, which I know was very welcome, but in no way is it going to offset the rises in inflation, particularly in energy bills, for example. If further funding is not given by central Government, what are the possible outcomes that could mean for FE providers and students in the city?

For instance, we know that one of the barriers to retraining or getting people back into the world of work is effective childcare. We also know across London there are gaps in the provision, whether it is childminding at one end, flexible care or even nursery provision.
