    • Question by: Susan Hall
    • Meeting date: 08 September 2022
Susan Hall AM: Hello, both. I do not suppose you will like these questions, anyway, but here we go. We are all agreed that on one of your briefing papers, females, BAME people and disadvantaged Londoners were going to be targeted by this AEB. White pupils on free school meals aged between 11 and 16 getting a grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSE is 25%, whereas the same statistic is 38.7% for Black pupils, 45.2% for Asian pupils and 79.6% for Chinese pupils. • Adult Education Budget (Supplementary) [6]

    • Question by: Joanne McCartney
    • Meeting date: 08 September 2022
Joanne McCartney AM: Thank you. My first question is to Jules. You mentioned earlier you had given a funding uplift to FE providers, which I know was very welcome, but in no way is it going to offset the rises in inflation, particularly in energy bills, for example. • Question by: Susan Hall
    • Meeting date: 04 March 2021

He should know what job he has and he should be here to answer questions. However, I will address the questions I have, if I may, to Jules Pipe. Jules, I listened to the...
  • Question and Answer Session: COVID-19 Recovery - The Next Steps for London (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Joanne McCartney
    • Meeting date: 04 March 2021
Joanne McCartney AM: My first question is to Danny Thorpe, if I can. It is a general question. The pandemic has meant that many people have lost or are likely to lose their jobs in the forthcoming months. What retraining opportunities are you supporting for those people who are in that position?
  • Question and Answer Session: COVID-19 Recovery - The Next Steps for London (Supplementary) [17]

    • Question by: Susan Hall
    • Meeting date: 04 March 2021
Susan Hall AM: You have mentioned quite a few times, Deputy Mayor, about high streets. How do you think high streets, especially in outer London, are going to be affected by the outer London tax commonly known, I think, as the Boundary Charge?
