Len Duvall AM: Thank you very much. To go back to the most challenging issue and just briefly about what, Mike, you said around technology and when technology becomes available, we know that that is constantly evolving and speeding up in some cases. Val, in answer to the question from Assembly Member Bailey, you talked about how this document really is what is in the business plan we are concentrating on and you have no long‑term plans, but in the direction of travel of the document it is quite clear you are supporting the Assembly Transport Committee’s plans for road...

Just going back to one of my bugbears since the ricin in Wood Green, when the local chair of the Health Trust, the local chief executive, and I think the local head of the Fire Service were not aware of the ricin incident until two days afterwards. I am trying to get my head round this, and I have written down 'complementary specialisms, information flow, early advice, and then the crunch, which is marshalling resources to the scene.' Can you just tell me, what difference will it make, if you actually have this? What difference will it make, if there is a catastrophic event?

I just want to follow up the work about working together in this MAIAT. I am confident when you are all in a room, yes, you are all working together, but it has been reported to me that none of your communication systems actually connect with each other. Therefore, what happens at the operational level, if you are all running on different communications systems? Is that high up on the agenda? I am thinking about the command, really. I am not talking about people putting out fires. I am talking about the connection between the fire service, the police, the...

In the event of one or more major terrorist incidents, what is the capacity of the health and ambulance service in London to cope with mass casualties? How many hospital beds can be made available in a short space of time?
