  • Question and Answer Session: Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (Supplementary) [4]

    • Question by: Siân Berry
    • Meeting date: 16 March 2023
Siân Berry AM: Thank you very much, Chair, and my question is to David. I am sorry to say that I have witnessed from you what I think is quite a poor attitude to community engagement. I have been copied in to this letter, also to you, from Professor Jennifer Robinson, who is Professor of Human Geography at University College London (UCL) and I agree with a lot of what it says. The professor raises concerns about the approach by OPDC to community engagement and says there is a need for the organisation to “repair relations” with community groups, including...

    • Question by: Siân Berry
    • Meeting date: 05 March 2020
Siân Berry AM: . I am going to ask two short questions for two pieces of information, if that is OK. First of all, Mr Mayor, you wrote to me in September 2019 about some of the operational aspects of the ULEZ and said that in relation to things like the operations plan and the camera strategy there would be a data protection impact assessment. Has that been done? If not, when will that be done?
  • London's transport policies (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Nicky Gavron
    • Meeting date: 05 March 2020
Nicky Gavron AM: Before I ask my questions, which are about the bus service in outer London, I just want to place on record my congratulations to TfL for what it has achieved over the last 20 years. I can remember in the 1990s when we were looking at international ratings of London and it was considered the easiest major city in the world to get to and the most difficult to get around. In those 20 years we have seen no less really than a bus revolution, a rail renaissance, the pushing of more walking and cycling and more...
  • Vision for Old Oak Common (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Nicky Gavron
    • Meeting date: 07 September 2017
Nicky Gavron AM: Good morning, Liz and Victoria. I want to ask a few questions about the industry and business premises and land in the OPDC area. You have there the largest concentration, probably, in western Europe of business and, broadly speaking, industrial premises and land. It is, arguably, the engine of London and the UK’s industrial economy. It is very farsighted of you that you have taken out an Article 4 direction to block the change of use to housing overnight from warehousing and from offices. When did that come into force as a direction?
