Can I just come back on that and just say that this particular borough does have an absolutely first class, dedicated sports officer, but that is not getting the club in question the £50,000 that they need. I mean, seriously, I am very pleased that you say that it is a good idea, but I have heard this from the Mayor as well, who was very, very keen on the idea. Reports are saying that the main contractor is coming back and saying that the cost of the Olympic Stadium has doubled. Can you confirm that?

I am sorry to interrupt, Neale, but I do not dispute any of that. Remember, I supported the LDA's intervention on that. What I want to know is what role is it going to play in the Olympics?

One of the areas, of course, that you refer to, and I think we can build on, is providing training facilities for teams coming to the Olympics. They need first rate facilities, but could be built all over London and therefore be a lasting legacy for Londoners, be they from the west or east, north or south, to participate in sport later. Can you give us a guarantee about what the plan is for rolling that out?

Since the LDA owns Crystal Palace, in effect, now, it has taken the lease, is it going to be putting it forward? I would just like a bit more specificity about what role it is going to play. You can make it happen. The LDA can put Crystal Palace forward as a training camp or a preparation camp. Are they going to?

I was struck by the fact that so much legacy is going to be wrapped around Sport England and the role they are going to play in the sporting legacy. Of course, I suspect there is a problem here, is there not, because of the fact that they are, to a large extent, dependent on Lottery funding. It would seem that Lottery funding is now being very stretched indeed, given that it looks like the Lottery is going to be involved in actually bailing out large overspends should they happen. I understand, and you are right to say that we should not be building where there is not long term use, and so on. I totally take that on board. However, there will be a concern, amongst the non-Olympic boroughs - after all there are 27 boroughs whose Council Tax payers are contributing towards the costs - that they are not going to merely have the crumbs from the table. What assurance can you give us on that? Specifically, what are the plans for the use of the facilities at Crystal Palace that Neale Coleman referred to?
