  • Supplementary [1]

    • Question by: Caroline Pidgeon
    • Meeting date: 05 September 2019
Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: I am increasingly concerned as to whether Stratford Station can safely meet growing passenger demand. Stratford Station is dangerously overcrowded, with well over 40 million passengers using the station a year, from only 12 million a decade ago. I understand plans to address overcrowding are looking solely at Stratford regional station, yet Stratford International could help relieve the situation. What are you doing to look at expanding the use of Stratford International Station to deal with this increase in demand?
  • Priorities for the Coming Year (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 10 November 2007
OK, and the final thing; I know I threw so many questions at you, but will the targeted offer be distributed to small groups with multiple needs?
  • Priorities for the Coming Year (Supplementary) [6]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 10 November 2007
My key concern is that it is not a scattergun approach that it goes to a lot of schemes but that it is targeted on very specific small schemes where it can actually do some good. Thank you.
  • London Youth Offer (Supplementary) [4]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 10 November 2007
I have a couple of specific questions; maybe I will cover them all together. First of all, is it just going to be for two years and will you ensure that the additional money will go to those schemes, many of which are working very successfully, rather than try to reinvent the wheel with trying to identify other schemes? Will young people decide how the offer money is going to be spent, and can you confirm that the targeted offer will be distributed to small groups with multiple needs?
  • London Youth Offer

    • Reference: 2007/0044-1
    • Question by: Mike Tuffrey
    • Meeting date: 10 November 2007
Who is going to benefit from the 'London Youth Offer' announced on 20th September 2008?
  • Brownfield Land (Supplementary) [7]

    • Question by: Mike Tuffrey
    • Meeting date: 11 October 2006
You anticipated my next question which was, if we count the Olympics towards that target, so the real issue, as it were, is for non-Olympic area target for the rest of London that we need to highlight and make sure that that is sufficiently ambitious to give us the brownfield site to protect the greenfield and then green belt.

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 11 October 2006
That is now up for renewal if it is the end of the three years so this is an ideal time for you to withhold grants.

Right. Can I just ask you one final question? How much money have you spent on sponsoring this event?
