I have been raising a number of questions over many years about when the MPS first introduced screening out crime, and I recognise there have been some changes along the path of where it has got to at the moment. For instance, we know that one of the barriers to retraining or getting people back into the world of work is effective childcare. We also know across London there are gaps in the provision, whether it is childminding at one end, flexible care or even nursery provision.
