    I think it is very encouraging to hear that actually TfL, you have shifted your position away from what really was a hand-washing of the issue. Can I agree with you, Peter, that these issues can be resolved quite quickly and I would have thought that, if necessary, if you get on the phone to the union and the employers, you could probably get everybody into Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) tomorrow in order to stop the strike on Friday.

I understand that you have visited the site personally. With the East London Line due to close this month, could you now give me an update on the progress on this project?

Could you give me an update and further details on the full terms of reference of this survey and the anticipated timescales?

    A number of my constitutions have raised concerns that the decision to give Crossrail the go ahead may have had an impact on the funding and expected implementation dates for South London transport projects such as the Cross River Tram, the second phase of the East London Line extension and the Croydon Tramlink extensions. Please could you detail what funding was allocated and the anticipated timescales for these two project before Crossrail was given the green light and now?

    Residents in Dulwich, Camberwell and Walworth are very unhappy about the level of delays being caused to bus journeys due to the road works on the Walworth Road. What is the current average delay to peak time buses on the Walworth Road? What is TfL doing to ensure that Southwark Council minimises these delays?
