I mentioned about the hospital because in times of illness, that is something that stays with people, because of all the other factors, but there are other spin-offs as well. Do you know that is a bit rich, really, coming from you, saying that things are being dealt with for party political reasons. Many people would say that the London Plan and your amendment is driving forward a political agenda; for example, your policy relating to affordable housing. That is a political matter. In the opening statement which you made this morning, you talked about your casual attitude to events being rather more casual than, how shall I put it, more formal parts of Government. Chair, it may be totally improper, but I am sure that members of my party would be happy to work with the Mayor on this and it would be nice if it was a GLA activity where we could write to the Refugee Council and invite them to come in as soon as possible. Has research been undertaken within the MPS to examine if the funding from the Home Office for capital city and security functions fully meets the true cost of providing these services, and if so, what were its conclusions? .

That is very welcome. I think Sir John quite rightly said how important it is that victims continue to receive support. What are we doing to ensure that victims are kept informed of the progress of their case? Hopefully there is a lot of support usually at the beginning and shortly after the incident. It takes quite a long time to go through to judicial disposal. What attention is paid to keeping these victims informed?

What residual powers will be retained by LUL / TfL when the Underground stations are transferred by lease to the private infracos? In particular, will the private infracos be completely free (subject to planning controls) to develop station space above or around station sites commercially for maximum profit? .
