    Well I am disappointed then. My concern is that there are as large number of flats, new places being opened in the area; Abbey National, Marks & Spencer and all the rest of them are turning into flats.     The increase in LOCOG's budget from £1.5 billion to £2 billion was attributed by Sports Minister Richard Caborn to inflation over the eight years to 2012. Why was inflation not taken into account in the original budget estimate? Are there any further factors, such as the need for increased security, which may cause the LOCOG budget to grow further?

    There has been media speculation that the Markaz complex will become the 'Muslim quarter' for the Olympics, acting as a hub for Islamic competitors and spectators. Is this speculation accurate and, if so, would this not be contrary to the spirit of the Games, which are meant to bring people together, not keep them apart?
