I was at a public meeting yesterday in South Hampstead; it was a packed meeting and the meeting subject was about law and order in the area. Léonie Cooper AM: Thank you, Chair. I want to address some questions to the Commissioner. It sounds like a very simple question: the items that garner the news talk about ambulances stuck outside hospitals, with paramedics being detained there, unable to let people go into the hospital because the beds are full. However, we also know that the police are sometimes ending up at hospitals for lengthy periods and it does not catch the news quite to the same degree. My very simple question to you is: how much time are our police officers spending on non-policing activities?
