    The report by the Mayor's staff on Phase 4 of Gallion's Reach includes noise, visual effects and air pollution as the environmental effects which will come about from the building of the road river crossing a mere 100 meters north of this housing estate of 798 new units. Does the Mayor feel that a small strip of woodland and sound proofing will be enough to alleviate the problems of noise and visual amenity - as long as people don't go out into their garden, or leave the windows open in summer? Can the Mayor tell us why the report suggests...

    Whilst the London Partnership Register is to be greatly welcomed as a significant step towards equality are you prepared to introduce measures so that the advanatges of the scheme go beyond the purely symbolic? For example, would you favour giving next-of-kin benefits to partners of GLA and GLA Functional Bodies employees who sign the register? These would include such benefits as compassionate leave and pension inheritance. .

Has TfL compared the costs and environmental/energy benefits of a ULR to that of both a diesal or gas powered bus and a conventional tram system? Will the Mayor ensure that the merits of ULR are considered when examining the options for a Greenwich Waterfront transit system? .
