The introduction of Community Support Officers (CSOs) in the Boroughs is welcomed on a trial basis, however will the Chair of the MPA accept that once this initial period is over and Boroughs are asked to effectively buy these CSO's from the Metropolitan Police, local residents will end up paying twice for their policing? .

Camden police officers described the six murders that took place in Camden Town from June to August this year, as a `statistical blip'. Following the unprovoked killing outside Kentish Town Tube station earlier this month, and the still more recent murder of a 50 year old man in Hampstead, does the Chair of the MPA now accept the urgency of the need to review the number of Officers allocated to Camden, in order to ensure safety and peace of mind for the Borough's residents? .
