Looking back at previous versions of the London Plan the 2004 iteration showed a clear commitment to London's heritage in the vision and in a number of objectives, which in more recent versions of the Plan and supporting documents has become less pronounced, less clear and weaker. London's historic character is almost unparalleled and its unique selling point.
