Funding has been distributed through the London Community Response (LCR) to support the capital’s civil society organisations in their work to reducing the COVID-19 risk to potentially vulnerable groups. The LCR is an unprecedented funder collaboration, the GLA is one of the funders. Transform Wellness Ltd, a non-profit organisation that operates across my Lambeth constituency, applied for funding but their bid was unfortunately unsuccessful, and they were informed that they would not be receiving feedback. How are you ensuring that all young Londoners have services which they can access through the Young Londoners Fund? Specifically, how do you ensure young women and girls have activities which have been developed for them and that the commissioned services do not exclusively focus on activities which are typically considered ‘boys activities’ such as football and boxing?

It was recently reported that there are plans for an F1 motoring event to take place in London and the Mayor has given support for it. Given all the restrictions and penalties about to be imposed on diesel car owners, and the valid concerns regarding air quality, why is the Mayor supporting such an event in the London area?

Mayor, would you share my praise for everyone who was involved with the successful running of the Lambeth Country Show. Everyone from the Council and Police to the performers and stall holders made it a special event. This event shows the deep community bounds within Lambeth and is something which we should all celebrate.
