As you know, growing pressures on local government finances comes from a combination of challenges including years of austerity, uncertainty about government funding, rising inflation, and the cost-of-living crisis. Consecutive governments since 2010 have slashed local government funding thus placing Councils in North East London in difficult financial positions.
