A previous Apprenticeship Grant for Employer Schemes led to a 21 per cent surge in apprenticeship starts during the Covid-19 crisis. McKinsey research in September shows 5% of employees in a typical organisation had taken on a second full time job while already being employed. What work has the GLA done to reassure you that no staff are double dipping? Have any staff been caught doing just this since 2020 and how many? Were they dismissed?
