Do the findings of the Annual London Education report support the notion that Local Authorities should have a greater role in improving all schools found to be inadequate whether maintained or Academy schools? The Government's approach to apprenticeships does not appear to be working in London as many businesses are not making full use of the Apprenticeship Levy or are using the funding for apprenticeships in sectors that offer little progression and low-pay.
