Ealing Council is introducing new automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera technology as part of its enforcement against fly-tipping in the borough. This costs more than a quarter of a million pounds a year to clean up. Whilst I recognise that you do not have any legal powers in the area, do you agree that this approach could usefully be replicated by other councils?
