    In December 2016, the GLA recommended that Fairlop Waters and Fairlop Plain Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) be upgraded to a Site of Metropolitan Importance (SMI). Can you confirm whether there has been any progress in taking this forward, and will you be making any representations to Redbridge Council about this?

    Do you share my concerns that Fairlop Waters and Fairlop Plan Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) has not been surveyed or reviewed since 1997, despite a requirement to do so every 5-10 years? Will you be making any representations to Redbridge Council about this?

Can you please confirm whether this in fact the case, and whether there are any barriers from the GLA to starting this process immediately?
