In your answer to question 2024/0750 you said: “The focus of GLA officers is currently on ensuring the remaining customers of Solar Together London are successfully supported to get the resolution they seek. No decision has been made on what happens thereafter although I have made budget available to support delivery of my Solar Action Plan in 2024/25.” Could you tell me how much budget you apportioned to this delivery?

Thank you for your answer to my question 2023/3969. With regard to the promised: “note covering the implementation of green infrastructure policies,” could you confirm whether: a) the Urban Greening Factor (UGF) data will relate to CAVAT or canopy cover data, b) this data will disclose and/or highlight discrepancies between positive UGF data where it conflicts with net loss of ‘public welfare’ value or CAVAT valuations, and c) where the note, which in the same answer you said you aimed: “to publish on the GLA website by the end of this financial year,” has been published and, if so, where?

Thank you for your answer to my question 2023/3111, in which you said: “The UGF [Urban Greening Factor] guidance was published in February 2023 and monitoring of scores is still at an early stage. Applicants provide data on UGF scores, and my officers are looking at ways of improving data collection and quality.” Could you tell me when this data will be available, how it’s being evaluated and where it will be published?

A constituent has contacted me via the London Assembly website to suggest the following question: “Noting the 2021 London Plan commitment to Green infrastructure (Policy G1) – ‘London’s network of green and open spaces, and green features in the built environment, should be protected and enhanced.’ – could you set out your expectation to London boroughs to reflect policies in the London Plan, so that land designated as local open green space should not be approved for housing development, and should be explicitly protected from housing development in Local Plans?”

The April 2022 report, Planning for Roof Mounted Solar Photovoltaics in London, commissioned by the GLA from Land Use Consultants (LUC), contained a number of recommendations to national government, the GLA, Historic England and London boroughs. Could you update me on the response you have received from all these bodies?

Could you share copies of any response made by you, a member of your team, Deputy Mayor, or someone from GLA Land and Property to the consultation on Permitted development rights: supporting temporary recreational campsites, renewable energy and film-making consultation on PDR on solar PV on listed buildings, by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC)?

Thank you for your answer to my question 2023/2610, in which you said: “I am focussed upon ensuring all customers receive the refunds they are owed, and that all partially completed installations are finished.” Could you give me an update on progress, including: a) how many refunds are still outstanding and the original number of Green Energy Together (GET-UK) customers who were owed this money and, b) how many partially completed installations have yet to be finished and how many Green Energy Together (GET-UK) customers were originally left with half-done solar PV systems?
