The London Health Board’s vision in the context of covid-19 says that better workforce planning “is unlikely to happen (or be fair) unless there is consistency of remuneration across health and care settings.” What initiatives are underway to improve consistency of remuneration, for instance through a common commissioning framework for social care, based on UNISON’s ethical care standard?
