    Léonie Cooper AM: Thank you very much, Chair. Thank you, Mr Mayor. I just wanted to focus on this issue about fairness. I wondered if you thought that encouraging employers to pay the London Living Wage, would you say that is fair to try to increase the National Minimum Wage to the London Living Wage, and yet there is someone present in this room who said, “This would be the most damaging to the lowest skilled and lowest paid whose skills and value to the employers do not meet the London Living Wage”?

Obviously, our condolences to Assembly Member Bailey on his loss that has prevented him from coming here this morning, but the issues that relate to the video footage and also the invitation that was sent out, talking about jingling and mingling, when mingling was specifically something we were asked not to do, overrides that. There are some really important principles relating to the Nolan Principles of Public Life and showing a better standard of upholding the law amongst people who have been elected. On that basis, I hear what you say about the peerage...
