In your answer to my question 2019/20119, you noted you were considering a memorial to the 12,000 Londoners who lost their lives in the Great Smog of 1952, and identified the 70th anniversary in 2022 as the best way to do so. • Pay-per-Mile Road User Charging (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Lord Bailey of Paddington
    • Meeting date: 16 November 2023
Lord Bailey of Paddington AM: It needs to be said, Mr Mayor. Do you think it is correct that so many assertions are made, and people put words in our mouths? We are at Mayor’s Question Time. We are here to ask you questions. You do your best to answer the questions. But it just does not strike me as fair that other Members put words in our mouths. I am sure people watching this would hope that you would represent yourself correctly and also allow us to represent ourselves correctly.

How many of these homes have been provided so far?

They told me about the experience of a woman who claimed asylum in the UK, was 33 weeks pregnant and living in asylum accommodation near Gatwick.
