I wondered if you thought that encouraging employers to pay the London Living Wage, would you say that is fair to try to increase the National Minimum Wage to the London Living Wage, and yet there is someone present in this room who said, “This would be the most damaging to the lowest skilled and lowest paid whose skills and value to the employers do not meet the London Living Wage”?

Obviously, our condolences to Assembly Member Bailey on his loss that has prevented him from coming here this morning, but the issues that relate to the video footage and also the invitation that was sent out, talking about jingling and mingling, when mingling was specifically something we were asked not to do, overrides that. There are some really important principles relating to the Nolan Principles of Public Life and showing a better standard of upholding the law amongst people who have been elected. Many EU Londoners are still feeling uncertain about their future. What are you doing to urge EU Londoners to remain in London, to inform them of their rights and to advise them on securing settled status?

Research by the Social Metrics Commission found that across the UK nearly half of Black/African/Caribbean/ Black British households were in poverty compared to just one in five white families. What action are you taking to address this inequality in London and how are you lobbying the Government to influence relevant policy decisions over which you have no direct remit?

Research from the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford suggests that no recourse to public funds (NPRF) restrictions falls disproportionately on people of colour. Do you share my concerns that this policy is pushing greater numbers of people into poverty as unemployment rises and how are you lobbying the Government to call for an end to this policy?

Across the UK applications to the EU Settlement Scheme fell significantly in May ( https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/eu-settlement-scheme-statistic… ). At the time of submitting this question, regional data covering this period is not yet available. However, it is almost certain that applications in London will have mirrored those across the UK and will have fallen. Do you share my concerns that the coronavirus appears to have led to a decrease in applications to the EU Settlement Scheme in London?

Do you agree that the continuous residency requirement of the EU Settlement for those with pre-settled status, awaiting settled status, should be modified to ensure that no Londoner is denied settled status as a result of quarantining or being stranded abroad due to the coronavirus?
