According to transparency international, 36,342 properties in London have been bought by hidden companies in offshore havens. The government committed to updating the law to ensure that when foreign companies buy properties in the UK, the real owners of those companies are recorded and the information is publicly available. Do you support these measures, will you feed in to the consultation, and will you press the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) for a timeline for the appropriate legislation to be brought forward?
