Earlier this month it was reported that 'community resolutions' were used in over 10,000 incidents of serious violence cases, almost a quarter of which were domestic violence case. ACPO guidance is unambiguous - community resolutions should not be used in connection with offences of serious violence and never in cases of domestic violence. Would the Mayor comment on this misuse of this disposal within the MPS?
