    It is understood that the Network Rail overhead electrification equipment between Gospel Oak and Woodgrange Park Junction will be available for use by electric trains from June 2017. Can you confirm that the power supply will be robust enough to enable all electrically powered trains, both passenger and freight, currently using the North London Line to use the Gospel Oak - South Tottenham - Stratford/Woodgrange Park diversionary routes when, for whatever reason the North London Line is not available, without recourse to diesel haulage of freight trains

    The response to MQ 2016/309 answered by the former Mayor of London revealed that in 2015 the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Newham have significantly higher rates of collisions involving a vehicle 'hit and run' than other London Boroughs. What steps are being taken (a) to understand the underlying reasons for these significantly higher levels of collisions in these boroughs, and (b) to ensure effective policies are in place to reduce these crimes?
