Whilst all other outer London boroughs have a provision of 3 or more taxi ranks, many of which are located at or very close to mainline railway stations, according to the list of TfL Appointed Taxi Ranks updated on 4 September 2013 there is only 1 taxi rank with space for 2 vehicles in the London Borough of Bexley, and that is located on Townley Road, Bexleyheath, some distance from the railway station.
